Paid Parental Leave (PPL):
Paid Parental Leave will be granted to qualified employees for 12 weeks with no charge to accruals once every 12 months. PPL is available for the birth of a child, adoption, and for foster care placement. PPL may begin on the child/children's date of birth, date of adoption, date of foster care placement, or anytime thereafter within seven months of the qualifying event. PPL eligibility ends seven months from the date of the qualifying event and must be used consecutively (PPL cannot be used intermittently). Employees are not required to utilize the full 12 weeks; however, once an employee returns to work, the PPL concludes.
