- Who are eligible to observe holidays and float holidays, are entitled to observe only those holidays that fall on days when they are regularly scheduled to work or required to work.
- Float Holidays are accrued in time and are not “paid holidays.”
UNITED UNIVERSITY PROFESSIONS EMPLOYEES (UUP)
- Election Day is a fixed holiday.
- The day after Thanksgiving is observed as a Float Holiday.
- Lincoln's Birthday is not an observed holiday.
- Money in lieu of the holiday time applies to all but the day after Thanksgiving, which is a float holiday. The period of time to change the designation to pay for holidays is April 1st to May 15th.
