EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM
At Stony Brook University Hospital (SBUH), we are proud of our employees who model our core values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (iCARE). We know that one of the best ways to attract new employees who model the same values as each of you is to invite you to help us in our ongoing recruiting efforts. We are pleased to introduce an employee referral program, which provides tokens of appreciation to employees who refer new hires to us.
We invite all SBUH employees to:
- Talk with family, friends and others about our exciting career opportunities and encourage them to apply for one of our openings at https://www.stonybrookmedicine.edu/careers
- Complete the Candidate Referral Form by clicking on the purple button below.
If the candidate you refer is hired and all eligibility requirements outlined below are met, you will receive a Stony Brook Medicine branded item after the employee completes 90 days of service.
Program Eligibility Requirements
- The position for which the referred candidate is hired must be 0.2 FTE or greater.
- Referrals for temporary hires, internal transfers or promotions of current Stony Brook University Hospital employees or Stony Brook University affiliates do not qualify.
- Hiring Managers and members of interview selection committees do not qualify.
Members of the Department of Human Resources do not qualify.
Referrals are not retroactive. For consideration, the applicant application date must be 11/26/2019 and beyond.
Please note: All information regarding the interview, the selection process and the reasons for hiring decisions for referrals are kept strictly confidential.
